Delivery and packing
We pack every order by hand in Lahore and send it with a courier that covers all of Pakistan. Here is what it costs, how long it takes, what it is wrapped in, and what we do about the fragile things. Sofia confirms the figures for your order on WhatsApp before anything is packed.

What delivery costs
Delivery is Rs. 250 flat, anywhere in Pakistan. Orders of Rs. 3,000 and over ship free.
- Rs. 250 flat rate, one charge per order however many pieces are in it.
- Free delivery on orders of Rs. 3,000 or more, before any discount is applied.
- Cash on delivery carries no extra fee.
Very large or very heavy orders — a full bedding set with pots, or a bulk gift order — are quoted separately. We tell you the figure on WhatsApp before anything is dispatched.
How long it takes
Pieces we have in the studio are dispatched the next working day, or the one after at busiest. The courier then takes the time below.
| Where | Cities we ship to | Time after dispatch |
|---|---|---|
| Lahore | Lahore | 2–3 days |
| Punjab | Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Sargodha | 3–5 days |
| Rest of Pakistan | Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, Abbottabad, Sukkur | 4–6 days |
Made-to-order work adds 7–14 days before dispatch, because it is cut, sewn or lettered only after you approve the sketch. The product page says when a piece is made to order.
Sundays and public holidays are not working days, and the couriers slow down in the last week of Ramadan and around Eid. We will tell you honestly if your date is tight.
How we pack
Everything is packed by hand on the same table it was made on, and we pack for the van rather than for the photograph.
- Textiles are folded, wrapped in tissue and sealed in a paper mailer. No plastic sleeve.
- Glass, ceramic and framed work are wrapped twice and boxed with corner protection.
- Candles always travel upright.
- Soap is wrapped in paper and kept away from anything that could crush it.
- Gift boxes are tied, then boxed again, so the ribbon arrives the way we left it.
If the order is a gift, say so in the chat. We leave the price off, write your words on the card by hand, and pack it so it can be handed over as it is.
How you hear about it
When your parcel leaves the studio we message you on WhatsApp with the courier name and the consignment number, so you can follow it to your door. If anything is delayed you hear it from us before you have to ask.
Questions in between reach Sofia on WhatsApp, usually within a few hours.
When it arrives
Open the parcel the day it reaches you and look at the piece in daylight. If anything is broken or missing, photograph it the same day — the piece and the box it came in — and send the photos on WhatsApp. We replace it or refund it, and you do not post anything back first.
Plants: Lahore only
Planted pots are delivered inside Lahore only. A living plant does not survive four days in a courier van, and we would rather not send you something that arrives half dead. Empty pots and planters travel anywhere in Pakistan.
Candles in summer
Soy wax softens around 45°C, and a van parked in the Punjab sun goes well past that. From May to August we handle candles differently.
- Every candle travels in an insulated wrap inside the box.
- We hold candle orders back when the forecast on the route is above 45°C, and send them as soon as it drops.
- We message you if that means waiting a day or two, and you can cancel for a full refund instead of waiting.
- A candle whose surface has gone uneven in the heat still burns normally. If it arrives soft or leaning, tell us and we will replace it.
Fragile and bulky pieces
Large frames and heavy pots are sent by a courier that handles them upright, which sometimes means a day longer and a quoted charge rather than the flat rate. They are wrapped twice and corner-protected, as above.
If nobody is home
The rider phones the number you gave us before he sets out. If he cannot reach anyone, or the address is locked, he tries again the next working day and we hear about it the same evening.
- Give us a number that will be answered during the day, and a landmark if the address is hard to find.
- You can ask us to leave the parcel with a guard, a neighbour or a building reception — tell us in the chat and we pass it on with the consignment.
- After three failed attempts the courier sends the parcel back to us. We message you before that happens, and we can send it out again once you tell us a better day. A second run costs the flat rate again, because the courier charges us twice.
- Cash on delivery needs someone with the cash at the door. If that is awkward, a bank transfer before dispatch is simpler.
Remote addresses
The courier reaches most of Pakistan, but not every village has a daily run. Small towns and hill addresses can sit a few days beyond the window in the table above, and a handful of addresses are served by a nearby depot rather than a doorstep delivery.
Tell us your city and area in the chat and we will check the route before you commit to anything. If it is a depot collection rather than a delivery, you will know that from us first, not from a phone call on the day.
Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and the far interior of Balochistan are the slowest routes we send on. The Rs. 250 flat rate still applies. The days do not.
Something here not clear
Ask us rather than guessing. A message reaches Sofia directly, usually within a few hours.
Ask us anything before you order
A shade against your curtains, a size we do not list, whether something will reach your city by Friday. Sofia reads every message herself.
